About Premier Master Thatchers

Originally with a background in machine engineering, I founded Premier Master Thatchers in 2013, to provide bespoke,  thatching services of the very highest quality,  servicing some of the most beautiful and desirable thatched homes and building throughout the Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire area and on occassion overseas.

The advantage of having an engineering background is that I have been trained to pay attention to detail,  and I apply this approach to project management to ensure that they run smoothly,  according to plan, on time (weather permitting) and on budget!

When I founded the company I was determined from the beginning only use UK materials, and have continued this approach to the present day.  I love the way that we can take a simply, natural material, grown in the fields/reed beds, and use it for thatching roofs that don’t just look amazing but are also waterproof, provide outstanding insulation, whilst being entirely eco-friendly.
